With great joy and deep gratitude, we announce:
By the decision of the Synod gathered under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, His Beatitude and Eminence Pavlos III (Emil Shimoun Nona) has been elected as the new Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church.
At this blessed and historic moment, we give thanks to our Lord and pray that our new Patriarch may lead our Church with faith, wisdom, and love. We wish that he may be a unifying father and a faithful shepherd to all the faithful.
